15CrMo hot-rolled carbon steel plate is a low-alloy, heat-resistant steel primarily used in high-temperature and high-pressure environments, offering excellent mechanical properties and corrosion resistance.
Chemical Composition and Implementation Standards
Composition: Carbon (0.12%-0.18%), chromium (0.80%-1.10%), molybdenum (0.40%-0.55%), and contains elements such as silicon and manganese. The chromium-molybdenum alloy design enhances high-temperature performance.
Mechanical Properties
Strength: Tensile strength 440-640 MPa, yield strength ≥295 MPa, elongation ≥22%
High-Temperature Performance: Endurance strength ≥80 MPa at 500-550°C, with excellent thermal strength and creep resistance.
Heat Treatment: Typically delivered in the normalized and tempered state to optimize microstructure stability.
Workability: Suitable for welding and cutting processes. Controlled heat input is required during welding to avoid cracking.
